850,000 Work Visas Issued by Saudi Arabia for Yemenis Since 2018

According to Muhammad Saeed Al-Jaber, the Saudi ambassador in Sanaa, the Saudi embassy to Yemen has issued approximately 850,000 work visas and 350,000 family visit visas to Yemenis since mid-2018.



On his official Twitter account, Al-Jaber stated that Yemenis from every governorate in the country were included in the visas issued. He said this initiative was consistent with Saudi Arabia's desire to support the Yemeni people.

On the other hand, as a part of the support offered by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), the Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in the Taiz Governorate provided different medical treatments to 326 recipients in March 2023. The project's center has provided 1,201 services, with 67% of men's and 33% of women's needs being met. The center offers a variety of treatments, including physiotherapy, which 249 patients received over the course of numerous sessions, as well as expert consultations.

In an effort to improve the capabilities of the health sector and ease the suffering of the Yemeni people, the Kingdom, represented through the center, is continuing its humanitarian efforts with this initiative.
