According to a statement from the Abu Dhabi Department of Health, COVID-19 testing centres are now allowed to offer express PCR testing at a higher price.

An express PCR test with results given in under two hours will cost AED 350. However, it it takes 2-5 hours then It'll cost AED 100. Home testing options are also available at an additional fee.
On the other hand, the authorities also clarified that the standard PCR testing with results in 24 hours will continue to be priced at AED 65 in the emirate.
The Department of Health reiterated that the cost of a PCR test can be covered by government-funded programmes in case a patient exhibits COVID-19 symptoms.
