What is Riyadh Season

First of all, the Riyadh Season is one of the biggest winter festivities not only in the Middle East - but in the world as well. This festive season offers its guests endless entertainment zones and live performances. Thus, ensuring everyone can enjoy its activities - men, women, children, and adults. Additionally, this season combines the international with the local. This goes for food, events, and performances. Also, a lot of surprises will be awaiting you at Riyadh Season, so make sure to indulge in this experience. 

Riyadh Season Location

In addition, this festive winter season will happen in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. To be more precise, you will find it in Hittin, on Prince Turki bin Abdulaziz Al Awal Road.  

Dates

Furthermore, this captivating season attracts visitors from all over the world. Many tourists plan their vacations and itineraries around it. This event takes place for a long period, you can easily join in the festivities. This year, the Riyadh Season will start on the 12th of October 2024 and go on to the 1st of May 2025. 

Zones

Upon visiting this event, you will enjoy exploring various zones across it. Each zone has its activities, events, food, drinks, and surprises. In total, the season has 14 different zones, each so big that you may not be able to explore them all in one day.  

1. Riyadh Season Boulevard

A worldly exhibition including KSA, Africa, Courchevel, Iran, and Turkey. Starts on 1 January 2025 from 3:00 AM to 3:00 AM. 

2. Boulevard City

Most of the live performances will take place here along with endless attractions and eateries to enjoy such as dancing fountains and global restaurants. This zone starts on 28 October 2024 from 4:00 PM to 3:00 AM. 

3. BLVD Runway

Experience real-life Boeing 777 aircraft on real-life runways. You can also eat on the aircraft of the control tower for a captain-like experience starting from 28 October 2024 from 4:00 PM to 3:00 AM. 

4. The Venue

Enjoy the most breathtaking concerts with audiovisual technology, flexible staging design, and superior sound quality. A wide variety of exclusive events will take place here from 28 October. 

5. Kingdom Arena

Sports fans and enthusiasts must head to the Kingdome Arena. This hub will host several world championships, cups, concerts, and pop stars. The events here will start on 28 October 2024 from 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM. 

6. Wonder Garden

Explore Riyadh's first magical garden-themed amusement park. It is a captivating park with whimsical gates, different realms, flamingos, butterflies, and endless magnificent trees. 

7. Riyadh Zoo

Exploring the marvels of wildlife is always a miraculous experience. This zoo has 6 subzones inhabited by various exotic animals such as the Red Panda and others. These zones have many experiences such as with lions, farm animals, owls, elephants, and more. Additionally, the zoo will open its doors on 12 November starting from 9:00 AM. 

8. Dior Museum

This year, Al Murabaa National Museum will host an exhibition designated for the life and designs of Christian Dior. This gallery will showcase more than 500 archived couture dresses. Also, many suave cafes will be there to enjoy. 

9. VIA Riyadh

Enjoy a state-of-the-art shopping destination, with a five-star hotel, a lavish cinema, and many gourmet restaurants. This Salmani-style destination has many exclusive boutiques to browse. You can tour VIA Riyadh starting 28 October 2024 at any time. 

10. Dunes of Arabica

Arabian nights are what allure tourists from all over the world. Therefore, this season features an enchanting zone to enjoy Saudi culture in the heart of the desert through an immersive and once-in-a-lifetime experience. These dunes will take place starting 1 January 2025. 

11. The Groves 

The Groves returns to this year's season with even more spectacular attractions than ever before. Enjoy its natural beauty, outdoor activities, and dining experiences from 2 October 2024. 

12. Al Suwaidi Park Riyadh Season 

Lucious green lawns, mid-park lake, flamingo birds, traditional and international food, souvenirs, and trinkets. All of that and more will be awaiting you at Al Suwaidi Park. Additionally, this park showcases different cultures from 8 different countries across the world. Enjoy this park and its breathtaking scenery from 29 October 2024. 

13. Souq Al Awaleen 

A festive season in Riyadh will not be perfect without a traditional market showcasing the Kingdom's rich identity. The wide variety of excellent merchandise will leave you puzzled. These products vary between authentic handicrafts, traditional attire, spices, and more. This market will welcome guests starting 1 December 2024. 

14. Al Hosn Studios

Last, but not least is Al Hosn Studios - where you can dive into the world of filmmaking, scriptwriting, editing, sound management, and graphics creation. Also, you will get to see the behind-the-scenes to immerse yourself in this creative art.

For instance, Riyadh Season concerts feature a wide variety of top-tier artists such as Majid Al Muhandis, Rabeh Saqer, and Modi Al Shammari.
