Saudi Crown Prince Performs Prayer at the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman leads prayer in Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah at the Prophet’s Mosque, reinforcing spiritual devotion during his Madinah visit.

Saudi Arabia’s Mohammed bin Salman, who also serves as Prime Minister, performed prayer on Friday at Al‑Rawdah Al‑Sharifah, the sacred chamber within the Prophet’s Mosque revered by millions of Muslims worldwide.
Upon his arrival at the historic site, the Crown Prince was warmly received by senior religious officials, including Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, President of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, along with Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, Minister of Hajj and Umrah, and other leading imams from the mosque.
During his visit, the Crown Prince offered prayers in the revered section of the mosque and paid tribute by greeting the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his two devoted companions, a gesture deeply significant in the Islamic faith.
Accompanying the Crown Prince were senior Saudi dignitaries, including Prince Salman bin Sultan, Emir of the Madinah Region; Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd, Minister of State and Council of Ministers member; Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman, Deputy Emir of Riyadh Province; Prince Saud bin Nahar, Deputy Emir of Madinah; as well as Prince Saud bin Salman and Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture. Several other ministers and senior scholars also joined the delegation.
This spiritual visit to one of Islam’s holiest sites reflects the Crown Prince’s ongoing engagement with the Kingdom’s religious heritage and his support for the country’s custodianship of the Two Holy Mosques
