Saudi Residents Can Now Apply for an e-Visa to Japan From March 27

Starting on March 27th, 2023, Saudi citizens and residents can apply for electronic visas to Japan according to a recent announcement from the Japanese embassy in Saudi Arabia. Previously, applications had to be submitted in person at the Japanese embassy or consulate.

Basic information including name, contact information, passport information, and travel details must be filled out on a form as part of the application procedure.
 

This new decision will further strengthen bilateral ties between the two nations and ease entrance and exit for all reasons in addition to speeding and simplifying the application procedure.

Japan was ranked as Saudi Arabia's third-largest commercial partner in 2015. Due to their numerous shared interests, both nations are able to utilize their benefits and improve their bilateral ties.
