The Asiri Step Festival Kicks off in Abha

The Saudi Ministry of Culture announced the organization of the Asiri Step Festival in Abha during the period from November 27 to December 1, 2022, with the participation of the music, performing arts, and fashion sectors.

The Festival includes 4 main areas; the opening operetta, the Asiri step exhibition, the training area, which includes a theater ranging from 100-200 meters with a background that is a screen for people performing the Asiri step, and the music and cooking area, which consists of a group of restaurants and cafes and includes a number of folk instrument players and bands.

This event represents a part of the cultural activities that the Ministry of Culture has been organizing in various regions of the Kingdom with the aim of shedding light on the various creative and popular cultural fields that have been associated with Saudi society.
