Worshippers Pack Out Makkah & Madinah Grand Mosques for Laylat Al-Qadr

Millions of worshippers jammed the great mosques of Makkah and Madinah on the 27th night of Ramadan, which many considered Laylat al-Qadr, a blessed night in the Islamic calendar.

Saudi authorities manage an influx of pilgrims to the holy mosques during Ramadan, which is one of the busiest times of the year.

More than a million pilgrims were present at the Grand Mosque in Mecca on Sunday.

The General Presidency of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque said that there were 4,000 workers at the Grand Mosque in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and that the mosque is being cleaned around the clock by 70 field teams.
