The Saudi delegation is part of ten different sessions at the Davos 2023 World Economic Forum which started on Monday and will continue until January 20 under the theme “Cooperation in a Fragmented World”.

The delegation will share the progress made with Saudi Vision 2023 and elaborate on the development that they aim for to create a more diverse economy. 

Here's the planned schedule and topics:

Tuesday

Prince Faisal Bin Farhan, foreign minister and head of the delegation, will take part in the “Keeping the Lights on Amid Geopolitical Fracture” session on Tuesday.

Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan will join financial experts in the “Financial Institutions: Innovating under Pressure” session. Simultaneously, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef will discuss the vision for manufacturing in 2030 and its role in “The Return of Manufacturing” session.

Wednesday

On Wednesday, Prince Faisal will join ministers from the Netherlands, Iraq and Jordan in a session called “The Middle East: Meeting Point or Battleground?” This session is going to be fully Saudi-oriented, therefore the ministers will be discussing Saudi's dealing in the complicated global context.

The “Saudi Arabia’s Transformation in a Changing Global Context” session is going to particularly focus on all of these issues with the participation of  Al-Jadaan, Saudi ambassador to the US Princess Reema Bint Bandar, Alkhorayef, and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Al-Swaha.

Thursday

On this day, Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Al-Ibrahim will be part of two sessions. These sessions are “Is Global Tax Reform Stalling?” and the “Between Liquidity and Fragility: Reforming in MENA” session.

Minister Al-Swaha will speak at the “Deployment in the Industrial Metaverse”. 

Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Climate Envoy will attend the “Open Forum: The Evolution of Urban Life” session. 

“Reshuffling Value Chains” session will witness the participation of Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih.
