Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Education and Ministry of Culture have instituted a Manga Education Program for teaching manga comic art to students in the Kingdom.

The program targets students of middle and secondary grades in public, international, and private schools. This art program will be part of the virtual extracurricular activities run through the Madrasati Platform. 

The Manga Education Program aims to teach students the significant skills required for the process of manga-making, which include drawing and storyboards. The program is developed from the best international standards by experts in Japanese universities. 

The virtual manga program consists of 10 episodes. The program aims to cultivate aritistic values among the younger generation so that they can create artwork inspired by national and cultural identity.
