đ My Sweet Girl, Letâs Talk About Ramadan!
My love, Ramadan is such a beautiful and special time for us! Itâs a month when we try to be our kindest, most patient, and most grateful selves. We remember how lucky we are to have food, water, and a cozy home, and we also learn to share with those who donât have as much.
During Ramadan, many Muslims fastâthat means they donât eat or drink anything from sunrise to sunset. But donât worry, my little one! You donât have to fast like grown-ups just yet. You can join in in fun little waysâmaybe by skipping snacks for a few hours or helping set the table for Iftar (the evening meal).
đ Do you know why we fast?
Itâs not just about foodâitâs about feeling closer to Allah (God), being grateful, and learning self-control. It helps us think about people who donât have enough to eat, so we feel thankful and want to help others more.
âš How You Can Join in the Ramadan Fun!
đ Come with me to the mosque! Weâll pray together, and youâll see so many happy faces!
đš Letâs make a Ramadan moon and stars craft! We can hang it in your room.
đ Iâll read you a special Ramadan story before bed! (Maybe one about a little girl who tries fasting for the first time!)
đ„° You can do good deeds! Every day, weâll write down something kind you did and put it in our âRamadan Kindness Jar.â
đœïž Help me make Iftar! Weâll cook yummy food, and Iâll let you taste the dates before we break our fast.
đ And guess what? At the end of Ramadan, we have a BIG celebration! Itâs called Eid! Weâll dress up in pretty clothes, go to a special prayer, eat yummy sweets, and youâll even get Eidi (a little gift)! đ
You are my little Ramadan helper, and Iâm so proud of you! One day, when youâre ready, youâll try fasting just like Mama and Baba. But for now, just enjoy, learn, and keep being your sweet, kind self.
I love you, my little moon đđ
â Mama
