Rally Jameel: Women's Navigation Rally to Return in March

Rally Jameel, Saudi Arabia's pioneering all-women navigation rally, gears up for its third consecutive edition from March 4th to March 8th, 2024. 

Scheduled to coincide with International Women’s Day, Rally Jameel 2024 promises an exhilarating journey through the Kingdom's most iconic landmarks, highlighting the spirit of empowerment and adventure.

The event will captivate audiences with its five-day off-road navigation rally, departing from Hail and culminating in Yanbu, with stops at King Abdullah Economic City, AlUla, and Umluj along the way. Unlike traditional racing events, Rally Jameel focuses on navigation skills rather than speed, making it accessible to all skill levels.

The 1,600-kilometer route, divided into daily stages of 300 to 500 kilometers, remains shrouded in secrecy until the night before each leg, adding an element of surprise and challenge for participants. Safety is paramount, with a cutting-edge tracking system and helicopter medics ensuring the well-being of all competitors throughout the rally.

Last year's event attracted 82 participants from 25 different nationalities, igniting global interest in this groundbreaking female-only rally. This year, Rally Jameel anticipates an even larger international presence, with participants hailing from diverse corners of the globe, including Spain, Australia, Jordan, Brazil, and Portugal, among others.

Registration for Rally Jameel 2024 has already closed, with teams of two drivers required to navigate the course in manufacturer-made four-wheel or all-wheel-drive vehicles. Early registrants secured their spot for SAR13,800 per team, while late registration incurred a fee of SAR17,250, inclusive of preparation and navigation training sessions, as well as camping accommodations.
