The United States has reaffirmed its strong commitment to Saudi Arabia’s security and long-term stability. This statement highlights Washington's continued support for the Kingdom in maintaining peace across the region.

Speaking to Al Arabiya English, a US State Department spokesperson expressed firm support for the Kingdom. The spokesperson said: “The United States stands firmly with Saudi Arabia against Iranian aggression, including Iranian-supported Houthi attacks, and remains committed to the Kingdom's security and regional stability.”

The official highlighted that the strategic partnership between the US and Saudi Arabia remains a key foundation for regional policy. This important relationship has continued to grow even stronger over recent years.

Additionally, the US emphasized the importance of keeping key trade routes safe. Ensuring freedom of navigation in the Red Sea remains a major priority for global trade and security. To protect these shared interests, the spokesperson added: “It is critical to continue efforts to counter the Iran-backed Houthis and other terrorist groups in Yemen who threaten these US interests.”
