You Will be Fined SR500 If You Make Noise Near Schools!

If anyone creates noise by using devices inside the vehicle or commits any behavior that contradicts the public morals while driving considered a traffic violation, according to the General Directorate of Traffic (Muroor).

Through X app, formerly known as Twitter, the General Directorate of Traffic ‘Muroor’ stated that creating any kind of noise especially near the educational buildings will result in students losing their focus during their classes.

The Muroor has confirmed that anyone who commits this act will be punished with a fine of between SR300 and SR500.

In the same context, the Muroor has warned against passing by school buses that stop to pick up and drop off children.

It is considered a violation and anyone found passing by school buses will be faced with a fine of between SR3,000 and SR6,000.
