The CEO of the Royal Commission for AlUla, Amr bin Saleh Abdulrahman Al-Madani, has been apprehended for his alleged involvement in corruption, as announced by an official source at the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha).

Details of Alleged Corruption
The charges against Al-Madani include abuse of authority and money laundering, with investigations revealing his unlawful acquisition of contracts worth SR 206.6 million ($55.1 million) for the National Talents Company, of which he is an owner. These contracts were obtained from King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy before his government tenure, facilitated by a relative.
Further Complicity
Even after transitioning into the government sector, Al-Madani retained ownership in the National Talents Company and influenced its selection for projects within the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU). This arrangement enabled the company to secure projects worth SR 1.3 million.
