Saudi Arabia is set to witness the launch of over 60 Hilton hotels in the coming years, aligning with the country's vision to surpass 500,000 hotel rooms by 2030.

Minister of Tourism, Ahmed bin Aqeel Al Khateeb, expressed enthusiasm for Hilton's expansion plans, part of the government's strategy to attract international hotel brands and enhance the tourism infrastructure.

The collaboration with the private sector aims to boost tourism quality and sustainability, attracting global investors. The Ministry of Tourism has a target of 150 million tourists by 2030, aiming for a 10% contribution of tourism to the GDP.

Hilton's ambitious expansion is viewed as a lucrative opportunity for investors globally. Chris Nassetta, Chairman and CEO of Hilton Group, praised the Kingdom's efforts to develop tourism infrastructure and emphasized the ongoing construction of two-thirds of the group's projects in Saudi Arabia.

The expansion is anticipated to generate approximately 10,000 job opportunities, with a focus on employing Saudi citizens. Nassetta highlighted Hilton's commitment to fostering a conducive work environment, setting goals, and collaborating with educational institutions to provide training programs for Saudis to secure permanent roles in the hospitality sector.
