For the first time ever, travelers will be able to fly nonstop between the United States and Saudi Arabia, thanks to Delta Air Lines.

The airline announced that flights between Atlanta and Riyadh will kick off in October 2026, operating three times a week aboard the sleek Airbus A350-900 — one of Delta’s longest routes yet, spanning more than 7,000 miles.

A Major Move for Global Travel

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Tourism, Ahmed Al-Khateeb, called the new service a milestone for both nations. “Delta’s new nonstop flights between Atlanta and Riyadh mark a significant step in strengthening global connectivity,” he said, noting it will open doors for tourism, business, and cultural exchange.

Delta’s Expanding Global Network

This new route is part of Delta’s big international push. The airline also plans to roll out new flights to Marrakesh, Melbourne, Sardinia, Porto, Hong Kong, and Malta before the end of next year — giving travelers even more destinations to explore without long layovers.
