Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman offered his condolences on the passing of Kuwait's late Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

The Crown Prince arrived in Kuwait on Sunday, Dec. 17 and was received at the airport by Kuwait's new Emir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Sheikh Mishal was grateful to the Crown Prince for his condolences and sympathy during this time of loss. 

Accompanying Sheikh Mishal for the reception of KSA's Crown Prince were other members of the late Emir's family and high-ranking officials. 

Crown Prince Mohammed was accompanied on this trip by a high-ranking delegation including Saudi Arabia's minister of interior, minister of the National Guard, minister of foreign affairs, and many others. 

After the conclusion of his visit, the Saudi Crown Prince left Kuwait with Sheikh Mishal seeing him off. 

Sheikh Nawaf's Passing

The late Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf passed away at the age of 86 on Saturday, Dec. 16.

In a private funeral ceremony, the late Sheikh Nawaf was laid to rest on Sunday, Dec. 17.

The mourning period in Kuwait will extend for forty days.
