Mohammed Abdu to Kick Off the Kingdom Melody Festival on This Date

Mohammed Abdu, also known as the 'Artist of the Arabs', is set to kick off the first Kingdom Melody Festival on the first night, on September 28th, at the Jeddah Superdome.

The festival will take place from Thursday, September 28, to Saturday September 30th, to celebrate music from Saudi Arabia and highlight the history of songs in the Kingdom.
The three-day festival will also feature performances by Saudi singers and Abdul Majeed Abdullah, Abadi Al-Johar, Dalia Mubarak and Talal Salama.
On the second night of the event, which falls on September 29th, Abdullah will perform some of his hit songs, while Al-Johar, Mubarak, and Salama will perform on September 30th.
During the event, a number of Saudi music composers will also be honoured, including Omar Kadras, Fawzi Mahsoun, Saleh Al-Shehri, Mohammed Shafiq, Tariq Abdul Hakim, Talal Bagher and Abdel Rabb Idris.
