This December, the Red Sea International Film Festival will honor Academy Award winner Viola Davis and Egyptian star Mona Zaki.

The film festival will return for its fourth edition on Dec. 5 and run until Dec. 14 at the iconic historical landmark Al Balad in Jeddah.

The film festival will open with Karim Shenawy's 'The Tale of Daye's Family' and conclude with Michael Gracey's 'Better Man'. ‘Modi, Three Days on the Wing of Madness’, directed by Hollywood star Johnny Depp, will be screened at this year’s Awards Night Gala.

Viola Davis

Viola Davis is an acclaimed American actress and producer known for her powerful performances on both stage and screen. She has achieved the Triple Crown of Acting and the EGOT. 

Davis is celebrated for her roles in Fences, The Help, and How to Get Away with Murder, where her emotional depth and dynamic range have earned her critical acclaim.

Mona Zaki

Mona Zaki is a prominent Egyptian actress celebrated for her versatility and depth in both drama and comedy.

With a career spanning over two decades, she has become a beloved figure in Egyptian cinema and television, known for her roles in films like Sleepless Nights (Sahar El Layali), The Yacoubian Building, and Ehky Ya Scheherazade (Tell Me, Scheherazade).

Zaki is admired for portraying complex female characters that resonate with audiences across the Arab world.
