In the solar system, the architecture is dictated by distance: Rocky planets are found close to the Sun, gas giants are found far out in the cold. If we were to map these heavenly objects according to their physical dimensions – from smallest to largest, from Mercury to Jupiter – we would destroy this delicate balance. This cosmic shuffle would change the planetary habitability rules, cause ferocious gravitational chaos and would change the night sky as we know it.
