Aramco Restarts Ras Tanura Refinery After Drone Attack Shutdown

Saudi Arabia’s Saudi Aramco has restarted operations at its Ras Tanura oil refinery after a temporary shutdown caused by a drone attack.

Operations Back After 11-Day Halt

According to a Reuters report citing industry monitor IIR, the refinery resumed operations on March 13, after being shut down on March 2 following the attack.

Key Oil Facility

Ras Tanura is one of Saudi Arabia’s most important oil facilities, playing a major role in the country’s production and export operations.

Impact of the Attack

The earlier drone strike had forced Aramco to halt refinery activities as a precaution. The restart signals a return to normal operations after the disruption.
