In a groundbreaking move, AlUla is gearing up to host the first-ever Drone Champions League Super Final 2023 in the GCC, scheduled to take place in the historic city today, Wednesday, December 20th.

This event marks a significant milestone in AlUla's aspirations to establish itself as a global hub for the eSports and drone gaming industries, seamlessly blending modern drone racing with the allure of ancient charm.

The AlUla Old Town Amphitheatre will serve as the backdrop for this extraordinary event, offering free access to attendees who have pre-registered.

Promising a showcase of unparalleled skill, innovation, and technology, the event will unfold against the stunning backdrop of AlUla's Old Town. 

Recognized by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) as one of the world's best tourism villages in 2022, AlUla boasts 900 houses, 400 shops, and five town squares.

Hosted by The Royal Commission for AlUla in collaboration with strategic partners, including the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones, and the Saudi eSports Federation, this unique event seamlessly blends physical and virtual elements.

Pilots stationed in AlUla will navigate their drones virtually within the amphitheatre, providing onlookers with a real-time spectacle on a colossal screen.
