Tommy Fury Beats Jake Paul at Diriyah Arena

Tommy Fury defeated Jake Paul in a close eight-round boxing match, billed as The Truth, at Diriyah's purpose-built arena in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, February 26th.  

The British reality television personality handed the American actor and social media personality his first loss with a split-decision upset. 

Fury is part of the famous fighting family of the same name and previously promised to end Paul's career in an emphatic fashion.

"Tonight I made my own legacy, I made my own legacy - I am Tommy Fury," he said.

"All the way through these two and a half years, I had a dream, a vision, and no-one believed me. Now they can stand up and take note," Fury added.

Fury had the better of the opening exchanges but Paul, however, began to settle in the third round before he had a point deducted in the fifth round for a blow to the back of Fury's head.

Football player Cristiano Ronaldo and former professional boxer Mike Tyson were among the famous faces who sat ringside for Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury.
