The Royal Commission for AlUla Governorate has announced the list of speakers and participants for the first AlUla World Archaeology Summit, which will be held from September 13 to 15.

The summit will bring together more than 80 speakers and 300 experts from around the world to discuss the latest research and discoveries in archaeology.

The event will also feature sessions and dialogues for individuals interested in antiquities and cultural heritage, as well as representatives from government and non-governmental institutions, international organizations, and media practitioners.

The AlUla World Archaeology Summit is an initiative of the Royal Commission for AlUla, which is leading the development of AlUla as a global destination for cultural and natural heritage. The summit will focus on the latest discoveries in archaeology and how they can be used to benefit humanity. The event is also aligned with the goals of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which aims to make the country a global leader in culture, tourism, and innovation.

Speakers and participants will visit key heritage sites in AlUla as part of the summit. These visits will provide a platform for scientific discussion and collaboration, as well as an opportunity to tackle contemporary global archaeology issues and develop common visions and solutions inspired by cultural heritage.
