flyadeal has launched five new routes from Madinah, significantly expanding its flight network from the Holy City and strengthening its presence at Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport.
The Saudi low-cost carrier has added flights to Istanbul, alongside four new domestic destinations: Abha, Al Hofuf, Jazan and Tabuk. The expansion marks a major step for flyadeal’s newest operational base in the Kingdom and brings the total number of destinations served from Madinah to eight.
Previously, flyadeal operated domestic flights from Madinah to Riyadh and Dammam, in addition to international services to Cairo. With the introduction of the new routes, the airline is responding to rising passenger demand while increasing aircraft capacity and weekly flight frequencies.
Daily flights to Cairo are now operated 11 times per week, while services to Dammam have increased from 19 to 26 weekly flights. Riyadh continues to be served with five daily flights from Madinah.
The new domestic routes connect Madinah with key regions across Saudi Arabia. Abha serves the mountainous Asir region in the southwest, Al Hofuf connects the Eastern Province, Jazan links the southwest coastal area, and Tabuk provides access to the Kingdom’s northwest.
flyadeal has also expanded its international offering from Madinah with the launch of scheduled flights to Istanbul, adding a European destination to its route map. The new service operates three times a week on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays, flying to Sabiha Gökçen International Airport.
Departures from Madinah are scheduled at 9.50am, arriving in Istanbul at 2pm after a flight time of four hours and 10 minutes. Return flights depart Istanbul at 3pm and arrive back in Madinah at 6.40pm, with a journey time of three hours and 40 minutes.
The expanded flight schedule complements flyadeal’s year-round Umrah services, which operate direct flights to Madinah from several international markets.
Tickets for all new routes are now on sale and can be booked via the flyadeal website, mobile app and authorised travel agents, offering Madinah residents and visitors greater choice for domestic and international travel in 2026.
