To help pilgrims and Umrah participants understand the rituals and fatwas, a "guidance robot" has been developed with the added capability of simultaneous translation into several languages.

Furthermore, the robot can communicate with religious leaders who can remotely participate in addressing inquiries from guests.

The guidance robot is equipped with support for 11 languages, including Arabic, English, French, Russian, Persian, Turkish, Malay, Urdu, Chinese, Bengali, and Hausa.

It also has a comfortable 21-inch touch screen that provides numerous services customised to the needs of the Grand Mosque’s visitors.

The robot has four wheels that are each fitted with a smart stop system, allowing for smooth and flexible movement.

It also has front and back cameras that deliver high-resolution, clear images.

The robot has high-clarity speakers and a top-notch microphone to transmit sound that is crystal clear and sharp.
