On Tuesday, December 20 at 9.30 p.m., the Saudi Idol auditions led to the start of the show's first season. The audition phase kicks off as the first season of the show. Every Tuesday and Wednesday, auditions are held for the talented people of Saudi Arabia.
The purpose of Saudi Idol is to encourage local musical talent and Saudi musicians. Saudi Idol, like other versions of the renowned TV show, will be split into two parts. The live performances will follow the Saudi Idol auditions. Regional celebrities Yemini singer and poet Aseel Abubakr, Emirati singer Ahlam, Iraqi-Saudi singer and composer Majid Almohandis, and Syrian singer Assala are all members of the Saudi Idol jury. The participants will be judged by a panel, just like in other formats.
