The beginning of the Umrah season has been announced by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. The Ministry noted that the pilgrims' arrival will begin on the first day of the Muharram month of 1445 AH and that the e-visa for Umrah can be requested on the Nusuk platform.

Furthermore, the Ministry had previously declared that they would accept performers for Umrah who were traveling from outside of Saudi Arabia and that they would begin issuing electronic Umrah visas.
The required permissions can now be issued through the Nusuk or Tawakkalna applications by citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia, as well as citizens and residents of the GCC nations.
After the successful season of Hajj 2023, it was decided to open the Umrah season so that more Muslims could perform Umrah rituals.
Additionally, it aims to raise the standard of services offered to them in a way that advances Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 goals.
