Hams Fekri Became the First Winner of MBC's Saudi Idol

Hams Fekri became the first winner of the Saudi Idol on Wednesday, which is the local edition of the globally renowned franchise.

Fekri was announced as the "Saudi Idol" live on MBC1 and MBC IRAQ because part of the show was presented by Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and MBC Group.
The singer signed a recording contract with Platinum Records, which will include a release of a full studio album in the near future. Furthermore, Fekri also won a 2023 Nissan X-TRAIL.
The Saudi Idol said "Everyone’s love and support during this journey has made me a different person, and I hope to live up to their expectations. I am going to continue to work harder and harder!”
Fekri also expressed her gratitude to Saudi Arabia for providing her with this opportunity.
The live finale of the Saudi Idol featured three finalists who competed in front of a panel of judges and a live studio audience. Fekri competed with Majid al-Owaid and Abdulaziz Manie in the finale and viewers had to vote for their favourite singer who would then be declared the winner of the Saudi Idol.
