GASTAT Reveals More Than 60% of Population of KSA are Men

Saudi Arabia has a population of 32,175,224 million, according to the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT), which revealed the first results of the Kingdom's 2022 census on Wednesday.

18.8 million Saudis make up 58.4% of the overall population, while 13.4 million non-Saudis make up 41.6% of the population. In terms of population, Riyadh is the biggest city in Saudi Arabia, followed by Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah, and Dammam.

Men accounted for 19.7 million of the population, or 61 percent, while females made up 12.5 million, or 39 percent, of the total. 63 percent of all Saudis are under the age of 30, according to the census, which also reveals that the Kingdom has a youthful population. The average age of everyone in the country is 29 years old.

According to the census data, there were 4.2 million Saudi families overall, with an average of 4.8 members per family, making up the country's family structure. Despite the fact that non-Saudi families on average had 2.7 members, 76 percent of all non-Saudis living in the Kingdom were male.

Five distinct data sources were compared, and the veracity of the data was verified by more than 200 indicators.
