Saudi Implements Periodic Maintenance for Black Stone

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Holy Mosque and the Prophet's Holy Mosque has implemented the periodic maintenance for the Black Stone as part of preparations for the Ramadan season for 1443 Hijri.

The Under-Secretary-General for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque Dr. Saad bin Mohammed Al-Muhaimid said that the Presidency of the Affairs of the Grand Holy Mosque supervises all works of the Holy Kaabah and all its relevant elements in coordination and integration with various specialized departments of the presidency and other stakeholders concerned with the Grand Holy Mosque.

He also referred to using the latest technologies and best materials according to the international standards with up-to-date methods and professional ways in implementing works of the Holy Kaabah and relevant elements, noting that a qualified and specialized technical team implements these works through modern advanced methods, where the technical team applies the highest standards of accuracy and quality in a record time to complete the mission with maintaining the precautionary measures.
