Noor Riyadh Unveils 120 Artworks for the Largest Light Festival 2023

Noor Riyadh, the largest light art festival in the world, has unveiled over 120 light art installations, building projections, performances, and artworks by over 100 artists.

The light festival is coming back to the Saudi capital in its third edition from Thursday, November 30th until Saturday, December 16th under the theme "The Bright Side of the Desert Moon."

Noor Riyadh artworks will be showcased at five main hubs, as well as additional locations. The central hub will be in King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD).

The festival will feature more than 35 nationalities. Countries represented include Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, Estonia, Japan, Poland, and the US.

The full list of Noor Riyadh artists was released and it includes Bruno Ribeiro, Carsten Höller, Chris Levine, Christopher Bauder, Dana-Fiona Armour, Diana Thater, Drift, Janet Echelman, and Philippe Parreno.

The event is part of Riyadh Art, which is one of the four major projects under the mandate of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City to turn the capital into "a gallery without walls".
