Ronaldo Scores First AFC Champions League Goal in Al Nassr Win

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first goal in the AFC Champions League, helping Al Nassr come from behind to beat Tajikistan's Istiklol 3-1 in Riyadh.

The 38-year-old Portuguese forward, who is the all-time top scorer in the European Champions League with 140 goals, equalized for Al Nassr in the 66th minute with a clever chipped finish, after Senin Sebai had put Istiklol ahead on the break in the first half.

Six minutes after Ronaldo's equalizer, Anderson Talisca scored a header to put Al Nassr ahead. The Brazilian then sealed the victory with a low shot into the corner in the 77th minute.

“Good game from everyone on the team! Happy to have scored my 1st #ACL Champions League goal! We keep wining! [sic],” Ronaldo said in a social media post.

Al Nassr won their second group stage match in the AFC Champions League, beating Tajikistan's Istiklol 3-1. This puts them top of Group E, three points ahead of Persepolis, who beat Al Duhail of Qatar 1-0.
