Verstappen finished first with a lap time of 1m28. 412s and he was followed by Ferrari's Charles Leclerc.

Verstappen's teammate Sergio Perez finished third with a lap time of 1m28.906.

Stake's Guanyu crashed at Turn 7 because he lost the rear on the entry to the corner at a very high speed, thankfully, the driver was left uninjured.

The session was brought to a halt to clear the track and was resumed with five minutes remaining in the session.

However, the Stake was left heavily damaged at the rear, which might become a challenge for the engineers to prepare for the qualifying session.

Mercedes' George Russell finished fourth and his teammate Lewis Hamilton finished eighth, despite being at the start of the session.

Russell was followed by Lando Norris, Fernando Alonso, Lance Stroll, and Oscar Piastri in fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth respectively.

Ferrari's Oliver Bearman finished tenth in his first practice session for F1 after he replaced Leclerc's teammate Carlos Sainz Jr.

Despite it being his first time, Bearman made it to the top 10, which has impressed F1 fans.

Sainz was diagnosed with appendicitis and recent updates reveal that he is out of surgery and recovering.

We wish him a speedy recovery and we wish all the best to the other drivers for the qualifying session and the final race tomorrow!
