SEVEN AlHamra Mega-Entertainment Destination Set to Open in Riyadh in 2026

Riyadh’s entertainment landscape is set for another major expansion, with SEVEN AlHamra scheduled to open in mid-2026 as one of Saudi Entertainment Ventures’ flagship developments.

The destination is part of SEVEN’s nationwide portfolio of 14 large-scale entertainment projects aimed at transforming leisure and family entertainment across the Kingdom.

Located in Riyadh’s Al Hamra district, SEVEN AlHamra is not classified as a traditional theme park. Instead, it is a multi-zone indoor entertainment destination spanning approximately 168,000 square metres and featuring 10 immersive entertainment zones designed to appeal to all age groups.

Immersive experiences and flagship attractions

Among the headline attractions is the Transformers Experience, which will feature advanced, state-of-the-art rides set in immersive environments inspired by the globally popular franchise. Visitors will also be able to explore themed retail outlets offering exclusive Transformers merchandise, alongside branded food and beverage venues.

The destination will also house a striking indoor panoramic Ferris wheel, offering 360-degree views from a height of 22 metres, creating a landmark attraction within the complex.

Edutainment and adventure zones

In partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery, SEVEN AlHamra will introduce Discovery Adventures, a first-of-its-kind indoor edutainment park in Saudi Arabia. Covering 3,000 square metres, the attraction will combine entertainment with educational experiences designed for both children and adults.

For thrill-seekers, the venue will include an indoor surfing experience powered by FlowRider’s stationary wave technology, bringing year-round surfing to Riyadh in a climate-controlled, tropical-themed setting. Additional adventure offerings include Clip ‘n Climb, featuring sensory-driven climbing challenges, and a 12-metre-high indoor skydiving tunnel suitable for all ages.

Sports, cinema and live entertainment

SEVEN AlHamra will also feature high-tech bowling lanes enhanced with interactive digital elements and themed dining options. Motorsport fans can look forward to the Kingdom’s first Formula E karting experience, which will debut at the Al Hamra location before expanding to other SEVEN destinations.

A premium AMC Cinemas complex will anchor the entertainment lineup, offering a luxury movie-going experience, while a multi-purpose live events venue equipped with advanced technology will host concerts, shows and community events.

A growing entertainment hub for Riyadh

The opening of SEVEN AlHamra follows Riyadh’s rapid growth as a regional entertainment hub, building on recent high-profile launches such as Six Flags Qiddiya. Once operational, the destination is expected to play a significant role in supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals by expanding leisure offerings, boosting tourism, and enhancing quality of life in the capital.
