The fourth batch of female recruits consisting of 255 trainees graduated from the Women’s Training Institute of the Armed Forces with specializations in diplomatic security and Hajj and Umrah security on Wednesday.

A graduation ceremony was held under the patronage of Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, Director of Public Security Lt. Gen. Muhammad Al-Bassami to celebrate the new batch.

The female cadets were trained on applications and information technology, and they also received thorough practical and theoretical training on the skills needed to perform security duties.  

The graduates were also trained to carry out the designated tasks and responsibilities that align with their type of work.

Saudi females started joining the armed forces in 2019, when they were granted permission to join different sectors, such as the Saudi Arabian Army, Royal Saudi Air Defense, Royal Saudi Navy, Royal Saudi Strategic Missile Force, and Armed Forces Medical Services, along with the diplomatic, and Hajj and Umrah special security forces.
