In collaboration with their counterparts in Qatar, the General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) and Muhammad Al-Nujaidi claimed to have prevented an effort to smuggle 4.091.250 amphetamine pills into Riyadh.
The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) in Jeddah Islamic Ports has also been consulted, according to the spokesperson.

This enormous amount of amphetamine tablets was thwarted as a result of security measures taken in response to drug trafficking and promotion networks that targeted Saudi Arabia's youth and national security. The amphetamine pills were discovered concealed within a shipment of livestock feed, he claimed.
The two people arrested were Egyptian and the other Jordanian. The accused have been subject to the initial legal actions, and the Public Prosecution has been referred to them.
