Bahrain and Saudi Arabia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that seeks to position both countries as a singular regional and global tourism destination in the region and around the world.

The step would create the conditions for a sharp increase in each industry's tourism.
A framework for coordinating efforts to sell and promote tourism-related activities and programs in both kingdoms is established through the MoU.
The MoU also seeks to improve cooperation in all facets of the travel and tourism sector to promote sustainable tourism development in both countries.
