Meta-owned Instagram has launched the Twitter alternative app 'Threads' today on App Store!
The new social media app is listed on Apple's App Store, which describes 'Threads' as a 'text-based conversation app'.
The app is also described as a place "where communities come together to discuss everything from the topics you care about today to what’ll be trending tomorrow.”
Screenshots from the app on the listing suggest that Instagram users will be able to log into the app with their login details from Instagram.
Threads has a similar user interface to Twitter including features like reposting, liking, and allowing users to limit the people who can respond to their posts.
Threads has been launched in competition with Twitter alongside BlueSky and Mastadon.
