Pakistan's President Dr. Arif Alvi recently visited the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah after he arrived in Jeddah last week with his family to perform Hajj.

Upon his arrival at this mosque, Dr. Alvi and his family were received by important Saudi officials. He performed his prayers there. 

Last week, Pakistan's President was received at the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah by the Deputy Governor of Makkah Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz.

Dr. Alvi was in ihram upon his arrival in Jeddah and was accompanied by family members and his staff.

This year, the number of Hajj pilgrims returned to pre-pandemic numbers with more than 1.8 million pilgrims performing Hajj in Makkah.
