The number of external loudspeakers used in mosques to make the calls for prayer (adhan) has been set at four by the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif Bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh.

If a mosque has more than four external loudspeakers, they should be removed and stored later use or distributed to mosques that do not have enough loudspeakers according to Al-Sheikh

The minister has launched the Volunteer Initiatives Exhibition at the ministry's branch in Al-Qassim, which included a number of pavilions for the administrations of mosques, da'wah and guidance in the governorates. The expo showcases the achievements, programs, and initiatives of the current and future volunteering departments.
