The electric bus is very efficient because it is able to cover 250 km on a single charge via a dedicated track. The service is to be provided for the route from Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport to the Prophet’s Mosque and vice versa, which is a distance of 38 km.

The electric bus service is scheduled to take more than 16 trips and will operate for more than 18 hours. The electric bus features an advanced air conditioning system, screens displaying the trip's details, and seating for people with special needs.

The electric buses are to be added to the Madinah Buses Fleet, which is supervised by Al-Madinah Region Development Authority. The service has been introduced to enhance the public transport experience for residents and visitors of Madinah.
