Revenues from Hotel Rooms in Dubai Exceed “Pre-pandemic” Levels

The average revenue from hotel rooms in Dubai reached AED 417 during the first half of this year, compared to AED 336 during the same period in 2019, with a growth rate of 24.1%, according to the data of the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai.

The Department also revealed the number of visitors to Dubai during the first half of this year, which amounted to about 7.12 million international visitors, compared to 2.52 million international visitors in the same period last year, an increase of more than 183%.

The average hotel occupancy rate reached 74% during the period between January and June of this year, an increase of 12% over the same period last year and a slight decrease from the 76% recorded in the first half of 2019 before the global pandemic.
