Saudi Arabia is elevating its entertainment industry by repurposing decommissioned planes into restaurants, cafes, and musical theaters. In an exclusive development, the Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA), in partnership with national carrier Saudi Airlines, has announced plans to utilize five retired Boeing planes for this groundbreaking project.

In a recent announcement, Turki Alalsheikh, the Head of Saudi GEA, revealed that an agreement has been established with Saudi Airlines to repurpose the decommissioned planes.
Alalsheikh emphasized the unique nature of the project, stating, "We are seeking to develop the idea. It’ll be a unique experience." The initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts to diversify its economy beyond oil and further establish itself as a global hub for entertainment.
