On Thursday in Davos, British Secretary of State for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy Grant Shapps met with Minister of Communications and IT Eng. Abdullah Al-Swaha, Saudi Arabia to discuss the growth of the strategic partnership between the two friendly nations in the areas of science, technology, and space.

In addition, Al-Swaha met with Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Indian Federal Minister for Railways, Communications, Electronics & IT, to discuss advancing their strong partnership in the spheres of technology, creativity, and digital business.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Tamimi, the head of Saudi Arabia's Communications, Space, and Technology Commission, attended both conferences (CST). The G20's plans for the digital economy were discussed at the conference.
 

The meetings took place in Davos, Switzerland, in between the World Economic Forum's annual meeting in 2023.
