Starting February 1st, citizens of Saudi Arabia will gain immediate access to obtain e-visas for travel to the United Kingdom. This new system facilitates visa acquisition within hours via an online application platform, enabling Saudi nationals to plan visits to the UK for a maximum period of two years.

Streamlined Application Process
The introduction of this streamlined visa process follows the initial implementation of a UK e-visa waiver scheme for Saudi citizens in June 2022. Under this updated agreement, British passport holders will also enjoy simplified entry into Saudi Arabia by applying for an e-visa through the Kingdom’s Foreign Ministry website. This process can be completed anywhere between 90 days and 48 hours before their intended journey.
Flexible Visa Options
The newly introduced single-entry e-visa for UK citizens permits visits to Saudi Arabia for tourism, business, study, or medical purposes, with a maximum duration of six months.
