The card was launched on a trial basis through the Ministry's Sehhaty app. Eligible citizens do not need to take out a printout of the card, nor do they have to apply for it.

The ministry has directed all service providers under the Directorates of Health Affairs and the Health Clusters within the governates of the Kingdom to facilitate citizens with a Priority digital card and provide services through the Priority offices at all hospitals in KSA.

The launch of this new digital card aims to prioritize elderly citizens in regard to accessing healthcare services.

The card will reduce the waiting period, gain assistance for mobility within the health facility, and secure assistance in communication and coordination of medical equipment and medicines.
