Saudi Arabia has called on its citizens to quickly leave Lebanese territory and to avoid approaching areas seeing armed conflicts, the Saudi embassy in Lebanon said.

However, the embassy has not specified which areas in Lebanon that it was advising its citizens to avoid.

In the statement, the embassy stressed "the importance of adhering to the Saudi travel ban to Lebanon."

Similarly, Kuwaiti foreign ministry issued an advisory early today calling on Kuwaitis in Lebanon to avoid "areas of security disturbances." 

At least 13 people were killed in fighting that broke out in the Palestinian camp of Ain el-Hilweh on Saturday, July 29th, between mainstream faction Fatah and hardline Islamists.

Ain el-Hilweh is the largest Palestinian camp in Lebanon, hosting around 80,000 of up to 250,000 Palestinian refugees in the country.
