This step comes as the King Fahd Causeway Authority (KFCA) updated the travel procedures of the Saudis through the causeway.

The authority said that the condition which stipulated that the Saudis must be vaccinated against the coronavirus has become no longer a requirement.

The new decision came into effect on Thursday, June 15th.

This move followed the Interior Ministry's decision to allow citizens to travel outside the Kingdom without taking immunization against COVID-19.

The King Fahd Causeway is a 25 km long series of bridges and causeways connecting Khobar, Saudi Arabia, and Al Jasra, Bahrain.
