Lt. Gen. Sulaiman Al-Yahya, acting Deputy Minister of Interior for Civil Status, recently announced two new features for the national identity cards on the Absher platform.

"Issue National ID for Family Member" and "Request Replacement for Damaged ID" are the two new features.
Using the first feature "Issue National ID for Family Member", Saudi citizens will be able to electronically identify a family member, print the special form, and request the issuance of a national identity for a family member. Additionally, the service allows applicants to ask for document delivery to a national address.
Saudi nationals can request the electronic issue of the document through their Absher account, together with the delivery service to their national address, in order to replace a damaged ID without having to physically go to the office.
By logging into their Absher accounts, users can find the National ID Services icon, select Civil Affairs under the My Services menu, and then review the policies and requirements of the services.
